I'm a little confused by Duende's DP support. Not much more posted about it, but you might be able to contact the person over there who is using it in DP- from his posts, I'd say he's 100% sold on it. starts off talking about incompatibility with DP, and then there is some sort of update that worked quite well, according to the post. I *think* there have been issues with SOME of those using FW interfaces with FW drives and FW processing.įor those who like the SSL sound, it's getting extremely high marks, but I've found nothing specific of how it plays with DP or on the Mac in general.
It uses FW400, so if I were to have this unit I'd probably have to lose my FW400 drives or get some sort of host- either FW or SATA- to solve the issue of having too much stuff running down the FW bus at once. However, there are other considerations- the main one being firewire clogging.

At the time he didn't know that the Mac drivers were not available and was disappointed that he couldn't give a go with DP.
